All the Osteopaths at Whitstable Osteopathic Practice were trained at the European School of Osteopathy. There we were trained in the treatment of babies and children (Paediatric Osteopathy). We are all fully qualified and experienced in treating them.

Over the years we’ve worked with the National Childbirth Trust and the Osteopathic Centre for Children - which has links with Great Ormond Street - as well as with local midwives and health visitors.

Babies’ skeletons are softer and more delicate so very gentle techniques are used. Cranial Osteopathy is the method we employ because it is gentle and safe. We don’t use manipulative techniques.

What we do is suitable for children at all stages of development from newborns to older children.

As Osteopaths, we understand that the healthy balance of muscles bones and joints is essential to the function of the whole body. The work we do could soothe relax and calm your baby.
